In addition to the main award, El Rodeo has also submitted an application for the Outstanding Arts Award.  The application process and will include a site visit to observe the school’s visual and performing arts program.  Only the schools that qualified for the Distinguished School award were permitted to apply for the secondary award.

“I want to commend our visual and performing arts teachers, Dr. Andrea Kay, Elizabeth Federman and Fred Pinto on their hard work in writing the application that was submitted in tandem with the Distinguished School application,” says Allen, “It is that level of collaboration and professionalism that makes our VAPA programs shine!”
